Drove 35 minutes and came to this taqueria recommended by Foxcito Pena on IG and TikTok. Los Tacos de Asada and Al Pastor were super delicious. Highly recommend it to anyone. It is definitely worth the drive. Thanks, Foxcito Pena, for the recommendation.

We loved this new spot! We got the tacos and ate them in Winnemac Park. We got the tacos de Al pastor and carne asada and they were amazing. The pineapple is great in the Al pastor and the steak was tender. Salsas were really flavorful. The prices are fair. We will definitely be back soon!

this place rules. the guac and chips are supreme - best in the city imo. and the tacos are just perfect. AND they're friendly, AND the place is cute to boot. can't go wrong here. we've become regulars and we don't even live in the neighborhood.

A hidden gem. Serpiente has amazing food. Once you get a burrito here, you won't want one anywhere else. The burritos and tacos are consistently excellent. I've also had elote, birria, and quesadillas, and they were all great.

One of the best Mexican places I've been to in 15 years living in Chicago. We were surprised at how much meat was in the burrito and enchiladas, and it wasn't greasy or heavy at all. The rice was really good, not something I ever even thought about before. Not too pricey, either. Small outdoor cafe and only counter seats inside. I'll be back for takeout for sure.

Omg guys, this placeee was lit , i was there last night and their tacos were sooo yummy. I like to put some extra lime, and some green sauce, it was amazing. I recommend it, you have to stop there.

This place is fire. Got the enchiladas verdes with chicken and a tamarindo agua fresca—came out to about 17. The salsa had a real kick and the chicken was tender, not dry like some spots. Everything tasted super fresh, and the presentation was on point too. Chill vibe, super friendly folks running it. Definitely one of those spots you wanna keep coming back to in the neighborhood.
